John Kovacs

I became a Christian in July 1957 while serving in the Air Force only six months before my discharge.  The base was turned over to the Marines.  I had been praying, asking God how He wanted me to serve Him.  I came to Richland, WA, to look for God’s direction.  I helped with Vacation Bible School.  I took a step of faith and decided to stay in Richland.  I met my wife, Lois, here, and we have been married for 63 years.  We both love the church and people.  I was baptized October 13, 1957, ordained as a minister August 24, 1978, and ordained as an elder October 3, 2010.  We look daily for God’s direction.  For You are my rock and fortress.  Therefore, for Your name’s sake lead me and guide me.
